The Start

We all have to start somewhere when it comes to getting healthy. I am starting now and attempting to stick with it (this time…). My biggest goal is to create a mindset of changing my habits and focusing on wellness. Wellness goals are defined differently for everyone, whereas when I say wellness, I am not only talking about changing my eating and workout habits but my mental and emotional health as well.

So, let us start here, with the before pictures that I never in a million years thought I would want to share with the world. I believe in being open and honest about who I am and what I see in myself. Every single person has a view of themselves and many struggles with what they see in the mirror, I am no different. I’m not immune to the harsh thoughts that run through my head when I look at these pictures. Again, this is why wellness is so much more than just eating right and working out, it is beginning to love myself for all the I am. 

I am eager to see the changes that will come

I am beginning Barre Blend on March 1, 2020. I have never before done a Barre class and have heard it can be really challenging. This is something I am looking forward to especially the structure of this program with Beach Body on Demand. I am given everything I need to be successful and to stick to it. I have printed out my workout schedule, which gives me two days off a week to relax or do some other activity I love (I am all for days off). They also give you the information of the nutrition plan I signed up for, The Ultimate Portion Fix (more on this later).
